I have suffered from migraine headaches and tension headaches my entire life from as early as I can remember. I have tried many different medications, relaxation techniques etc. When I was 8 months pregnant with my second child and unable to get ANY relief from a crushing, blinding migraine, Liz was able to help me with Bowenwork. I cannot say enough how much this modality helps me in a way no medication, massage or relaxation ever has. I recently had a severe pinched nerve causing pain, and her treatment helped me feel better almost immediately. It is amazing and worth exploring for anyone seeking a safe, natural and calming way to rejuvenate your own body's strength and ability to heal.
Liz works through patience and perseverance to retrieve the confidence in our own bodies we have forgotten. Her passionate commitment to Bowen therapy in conjunction with a rare kindness, which permeates every aspect of her work, make her an ideal practitioner.
With positivity and determination, Liz has quite literally changed the course of my medical treatment. I have been living with chronic facial pain for the past four years; without her and without BowenWork, I would have never been able to break from a painful treatment regime which wasn’t right for me. It proved to be the single most important decision I have made to date, relieving many of my acute symptoms.
Every session Liz tackles the challenges of the body with a gentle ease and assurance that few have mastered. More isn’t necessarily better, and harder isn’t ever better. She adapts her technique to the needs of the client’s body and seeks to understand those needs at the deepest level. I cannot recommend her any more highly.
Following my breast cancer surgery, I was blessed to be introduced to Bowenwork by practitioner, Liz McNulty. I began chemotherapy with much trepidation after hearing of all the possible side effects. However, the Bowenwork sessions that Liz provided helped me tremendously and my medical team was amazed by the lack of side effects that I experienced.
Bowenwork involves a series of moves that help allow the body to heal itself.
The gentle touch of the practitioner to certain areas of muscle, tendons, nerves and ligaments are relaxing and effective. I was restored after the first treatment and looked forward to the next with the knowledge that my body’s healing capacity would be “jump started” with each Bowenwork session with Liz. I believe that this bodywork has helped me work and exercise through my chemotherapy and I am grateful to Liz McNulty for helping me during this journey.
